Comprehensive Support and Evaluation
At EGOS, you’ll be taught by certified educators who guide you through a comprehensive curriculum aligned with Ontario's educational standards. The structure of grading follows the province’s continuous assessment model, which weighs about 70% on coursework and 30% on final evaluations, ensuring you have ample opportunities to demonstrate your knowledge and improve your grades throughout the course.
Final evaluations are also conducted proctored online, giving you peace of mind knowing that your assessments maintain the integrity of your work. Plus, after completion, EGOS manages all report cards, transcripts, and even the submission to the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC), making your transition to post-secondary education smoother.
Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR)
For students who may have previous experience or education that isn’t strictly in the Ontario system, EGOS offers Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR). This means that you can convert previous schooling into OSSD credits, making it easier for international and out-of-province students to transition into the Ontario education system. The evaluation process is straightforward, and you just need to provide the requested documents within seven days to get started on your credit journey.
- Transform your previous experience into credits
- Easily navigate Ontario’s curriculum
- Get started on your path faster with PLAR
